Of Rocks and Clay
Two Poems
(1)
Hard days; the hard clay of living
And the gnawing teeth of time
Grinding steadily at our days
Heavy nets of time across our shoulders
Thrown into the river of time
To catch currents of time
On its journey through time
Into time eternal
(2)
Gathered within my arms
A wounded dove
Snail shells and broken stars
Clouds of gothic castles
And more
The ocean’s broken heart
Wet wings that carry rain
And silence
Transferred through space
Into a plea of folded hands
And skyward eyes
Into a cosmic prayer for mankind

thank-you
Hi Bruce, as you see, I was able at last to pull in my poem. You did a great job putting it up. Thanks much. If you still are selling your poetry magazines, I would love to buy some. Send me the address and how much they are. Have a nice holiday. Thanks again, Susan
Glad to have your poetry
Susan,
I haven't been producing a print copy of the magazine. To be honest, I don't have the time available and unfortunately there is no one else that will do it. I had thought about doing ebooks with the Amazon.com Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook Ebook readers becoming popular and one can use the applications on their tablets and iPads but while most people have computers, not everyone has an ebook reader that they take with them everywhere to read their books and magazines. I have one and love the convenience of having all my books and magazines in one place and one device.
