donuts with guacamole fillings
birds on the ground, dogs in trees
at the Super Bowl with no game to watch
pizza boxes filled with birthday cakes
Aliens have landed! 
“How many dead babies can you fit in a trashcan?”
You laugh. 
Inside we are all struggling.
One egg in a carton
a swimmer in the middle of the desert
a rose, not dying, but drying
Wait…
