You are here
blameless fog
she's known of nothing other than fog,
and he is the wind that whips through the city.
he is careless and quick and unpredictable at best,
and leaves waves in his wake.
tall and strong and smoothly waltzing with the rain
to create an endless rhythm, he comes and goes
only as he pleases, for the rain needs him not,
and he - not the rain.
he breezes through seasons warm and cold,
independent and free from chains -
for in life, what grief it is to be tied down.
wind is understood and obvious,
but fog is shrouded mystery.
he abruptly arrives to seek some other merriment
and chases her away.
